Currently, there are many different endangered species of seals.

the main threats are entanglement in fishing line, oil spills, hunting, pollution, litter, and much more.

currently, the most threatened seal species is the hawaiian monk seal. it's most prominent threats are food scarcity, shark predation, fishing line entanglement, male aggression, habitat loss, disease, and human disturbances.There are only about 1,600 left in the wild. Some things you can do to help this species and others are beach cleanups,reducing plastic waste use by recycling or reusing, donating, signing petitions, spreading awareness, and watching for distressed seals. The latter involves locating seals in danger, and calling a local marine mammal rescue unit. These are all options available for almost anyone to participate in.
